Ram Shofar — 38 to 42 cm

Ram's Horn Shofar 38 to 42cm

A shofar is a horn from a pure animal, such as a ram.

It is customary to blow the shofar on the Jewish New Year (Rosh Hashanah) and on the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur).

The sounds of the shofar are repetitions of three basic sounds known as: Tekiah (a single long blast), Shevarim (three medium blasts), and Teruah (nine short blasts).
