Ram Shofar — 43 to 47 cm

Ram's Horn Shofar 43 to 47 cm

The shofar is a horn from a pure animal like the ram.

It is customary to blow the shofar on the Jewish New Year (Rosh Hashanah) and the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur).

The sounds of the shofar are repetitions of three basic sounds known as: Tekiah (a single long blast), Shevarim (three medium blasts), and Teruah (nine short blasts).
